Only staff marked Employed count towards your headcount. Your first 2 employed seats are free, and you pay for the employed people above that. Not Started and terminated staff do not count.
Your one-time 14-day trial starts when you first move beyond your free employed seats. It does not start at signup. Stay within your free seats and you do not use the trial.
New studios are asked to add a card during signup for verification. Nothing is charged at that step. Your Account page shows your employed seats, subscription status and billing details.
The annual per-seat price is shown as a monthly equivalent so you can compare plans. The full year is charged upfront: the annual monthly rate × 12 × your billed seats. The calculator shows that yearly total.
Owners can change the plan and billing interval from Account. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated. Employed headcount drives the seat count, so adding or removing employed staff changes the billing calculation.
Cancel from the Account page to stop future subscription charges. You retain access through the end of your paid period, and can resume before that date. Cancelling does not reset a trial you have already used.
