Video Calls & Meetings

Talk it through. On the drawing.

Start a video call from the project channel, share your screen and mark up what everyone is looking at, together.

  1. Call from any chat
  2. Camera check
  3. Share a screen
  4. Draw on it
  5. Guest links

Video calls

One click turns a conversation into a call.

Press Video call in any channel, direct message or group chat. Pick who to ring, or just post a Join button for whoever is free. Keep the call in a small window while you work, open it to fill the window, or pop it out onto another screen.

Video call in #Barker St Apartments-internal

Priya and Ben on a call started from the project channel, opened to fill the window; everyone in the channel sees it running and can join.

  • Calls ring in the browser, in the desktop app and on the phone, with a missed-call card if nobody answers.
  • Green headphones beside a name show who is already on a call.
  • Owners can decide that only they start video calls with clients.

Before every call

See yourself before anyone else does.

Every video call and meeting opens with a camera check: microphone, camera and background, with nothing sent until you press Start.

  • Blur the studio behind you, or choose a virtual background or your own picture.
  • Background effects run on your own computer; nothing is uploaded.

Screen sharing

Everyone can point at the same detail.

Share your whole screen and a drawing panel opens for everyone watching: pen, highlighter, arrows, boxes and text, each person in their own colour. The marks stay pinned to the shared picture, whatever size each window is.

Drawing on a shared screen

Ben circles the bathroom wall on Priya’s shared plan in red; Priya’s purple arrow points at the vanity beside it.

Drawing on a shared screen
  • Snapshot saves the shared screen with its marks into the conversation.
  • Sharp or smooth sharing modes suit drawings or video.

Meetings

A meeting link for people outside the studio.

Clients, consultants and builders join from their browser with just their name: no account and no app.

  • Start now or schedule one, with an optional passcode and a waiting room.
  • Admit or deny guests, mute or remove someone, and turn the link off when you’re done.
  • A scheduled meeting for a client appears in their portal with a Join button and calendar links.
New meeting

A design review for Marlow Group, with a passcode and the waiting room on.

Best on a bigger screen

The live demo is available on desktop.

It is a full working practice, with programmes, drawings in review and billing laid out for a bigger screen, so it is not available on phones. Open this page on a laptop or desktop computer to step inside.
